Frequently Asked Questions

  • We offer 3 acts. The full BANG BANG Strings Band is a 10-piece band that includes strings, drums, and bass. Our 5-piece BANG BANG Quartet includes 2 violins, viola, cello, and drums. Finally, our BANG BANG Soloist features a violinist and/or cellist, and can be setup to perform with backing-tracks or one of our exclusively partnered DJs.

  • We have an extensive Song List that we continuously update as well as Sample Playlists that can give you an idea of what to expect when you hire us for your event. We are happy to include specific songs that are not in our master song list; in general, we must receive these requests at a minimum of 2 weeks before the event date. Each song will take extra time to arrange and rehearse, and not all songs are suitable for all acts.

    If you have a song that is absolutely critical that we play, please mention to us at the time of your inquiry and we will let you know if it can be done!

  • For bookings, reach out through our contact form—once we have narrowed down the timings and selected acts, we will send you a contract to sign. Your booking is confirmed upon receipt of the signed contract AND deposit. We will be in touch again about 3 months before the event to finalize the details.

  • For the majority of our bookings, we offer a flat rate that includes everything from initial consultation to stage/lighting/audio requirements, soundcheck, and the actual performance.

    If your event already includes stage/lighting/AV that is adequate for our needs, we are happy to work with your team to provide the optimal setup and waive those requirements from the contract where possible - saving on costs.

    However, our audio engineer is not optional and we always require our trusted audio team who will not only make sure we sound our best, but also to ensure sound checks are run efficiently and stay within the planned schedule.
