Who we are

BANG BANG Strings is a collective of professional musicians featuring strings, rhythm section, and DJ. The versatility of our musicians allow us to present a number of carefully curated acts, seamlessly transitioning between elegant lush strings to gapless high-energy performances that are more common with live cover bands. We strive for high-end presentations that reflect our clients’ vision and attention to detail - details that make all the difference at your event.

Our journey started in 2025 when I realized a gap in the market for high-end high-energy live entertainment with string instruments. While there are many excellent string players here in Canada, there has been a lack of a cohesive presentation when it comes to string entertainment. The usual culprits are: inattention to detail, poor communication, and lack of a forward-thinking vision.

At BANG BANG Strings, we put lots of care into the presentation aspect of the performance. For example, stage and lighting requirements, attire, thoughtfully curated playlists, and top-notch sound are just a few items that set us apart from other groups. Our close collaboration with drummers and DJs allows us to bring a level of sophistication and energy less associated with strings. Additionally, our gapless performances that don’t allow for silence between songs will start and/or end your event with a bang!
